And posted on my continued thoughts on what Elon’s Banks might be upto following, as I wrote, their “collective stroke” after Elon suddenly seemed to end his attempt to break his deal to buy Twitter.
And, as I expected, Twitter remained understandable wary about Elon’s intentions to proceed with the deal as agreed, especially after he made no effort to report his supposed change of heart to the court.
So Twitter did—as I expected it would, given Elon’s demonstrated record of ignoring his obligations. The Court agreed with Twitter (and the rest of us) that the case should move forward as scheduled. Elon’s dreaded deposition next week also was temporarily delayed.
Not surprisingly, conversations between Elon and Twitter since yesterday have not gone well.

Interesting day in court for Twitter & Elon who, in the end, both argued the deal will close. Court said fine. Go to it. Close by Oct 28th or get back here & explain why not—looking at you, Elon, & all you're excuses & finger pointing & other obvious devices to delay. We'll see.
